Fuzzy Tapes Films was founded by Cinematographer Maxwell Behnke while shopping around for his own wedding video. He wasn’t impressed with the current offerings, so decided to take fate into his own hands.
He bought a lot of “vintage” camcorders online, assuming they would all work.
Most of them were broken, the old physical tape mechanisms having failed from years of misuse.
So, Max and his brother engineered a way to make use of these old cameras, bypassing recording to tape entirely.
Now, the camera’s last longer, and can record longer, without having to worry about a physical recording medium failing.
The result? A way of capturing your wedding in a vintage aesthetic, and an intimacy only achieved when your own friends and family are the ones behind the camera.
Max and his now wife, Elouise (owner of 350 Degrees Bakery, a small town bakery specializing in grand, vintage inspired wedding cakes and deserts) loved the result so much, Max decided to share it with the world. Thus, Fuzzy Tapes was formed!
When you book with Fuzzy Tapes. You are supporting a young, recently married couple in building their family, right as you start yours.
